High levels of TNF-α have been described in several studies among patients suffering from cancer, including gastric carcinoma, colorectal carcinoma (Erturk et al., 2016; Stanilov et al., 2014), hepatocellular carcinoma (Wang et al., 2003), head and neck cancer (Mlak et al., 2020).
