Having established a reference 2-HG HSQC spectrum, we then employed this pulse sequence to acquire the 1H–13C HSQC spectrum of live IDH1-mutant cancer cells (HT-1080) resuspended in phosphate-buffered saline with 10% D2O in a standard 5 mm NMR tube with a 500 MHz NMR. This evidence concerns the gene IDH1 and cancer.
