SOX11 and lip and oral cavity carcinoma: Table 4 shows the distribution frequency of clinical features, such as clinical stage, tumor size, lymph node or distant metastasis, and cell differentiation grade, and SOX11 genotype frequencies in patients with oral cancer. Compared with individuals who were homozygous for the WT allele of rs77996007, patients with at least one C allele of rs77996007 were significantly associated with larger tumor size after controlling for age, betel quid chewing, cigarette smoking, and alcohol drinking (AOR, 1.324; 95% CI, 1.047–1.674; p = 0.019).
