Modification of integrin β1 by core 1 β1,3-galactosyltransferase (C1GALT1) regulates integrin activity, and overexpression of C1GALT1 results in increased T antigen and sialyl T antigen levels and induces HCC cell migration and invasion (Liu et al., 2014a; Liu et al., 2014b).
