MIR490 and urinary bladder carcinoma: Additionally, as showed by Li et al. (2013), the MIR490 seems to be a suppressor of bladder cancer cell proliferation by blocking the transcription of FOS. Moreover, MIR490 inhibits the expression of HMGA2 and its downregulation appears to affect the development potential of the osteosarcoma (Liu et al., 2015).
