Moreover, the features of Ang II-induced cardiac hypertrophy, as characterized by an increase in LV wall thickness (Figure 3A), heart weight/tibia length (HW/TL) ratios (Figure 3B), cross-sectional area of myocytes (Figure 3C), and atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and β-MHC mRNA expression (Figure 3D), were also remarkably attenuated in LMP10 KO mice (Figures 3A–D), suggesting that LMP10 exerts a prohypertrophic role in vivo.
