CYP2C9 and neoplasm: Differential gene analysis tumor-free specimens from malignant peritoneum and benign peritoneum from patients with benign pelvic disease and tumor specimens obtained from patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer showed a significant elevation in the expression of CYP2J2, but not CYP2C8 or CYP2C9, in tumors from patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer (Freedman et al., 2007).
