P2RX7 and prostate cancer: In an immunohistochemistry (IHC) study looking at 116 prostate cancer biopsies using an affinity-purified polyclonal antibody to the E200 epitope of P2X7 (supplied by Biosceptre), P2X7, in a nonpore functioning form, was identified in all malignant samples regardless of their stage or the age of the patient (Slater et al., 2004a).
