Ismael et al. (2018) demonstrated that MCC950 could improve neurological deficits and reduce infarct volumes and edema, which was related to the suppression of cleaved-caspase-1, IL-1β, TNF-α, poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) and cleaved-caspase-3 and paralleled less phosphorylated IκBα and NF-κB p65 expressions in ischemic stroke mouse model. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and ischemic stroke.
