The results showed that ITGAM, ITGB2, ITGA5, ITGB5, CDH1, IL4, ITGA9, and LAMB1 achieved an AUC value of > 0.7, demonstrating that these eight genes have high sensitivity and specificity for MM, suggesting they can be served as biomarkers for the diagnosis of MM (Fig. 4a–h). This evidence concerns the gene CDH1 and Miyoshi myopathy.
