APOE and hypertensive disorder: The risk factors for cognitive decline have been explored in many previous studies: medical (for example, diabetes and hypertension), nutritional (e.g., fruit and vegetable intake), socioeconomic (e.g., education and occupation), behavioral (e.g., smoking, physical activity, and cognitive engagement), and genetic (e.g., apolipoprotein E (APOE)) factors have been reported in systematic reviews [4,5].
