Consistent with these observations, levels of UGCG (p = 1.5x10-4, fold change = 2.953) were higher in mixed lobular and ductal breast carcinoma tumours compared to normal breast tissue as analysed by Oncomine database (https://www.oncomine.org/resource/main.html) [111, 121] using TCGA breast dataset (Supplementary Figure 1A). This evidence concerns the gene UGCG and breast ductal adenocarcinoma.
