The significantly increased expression of IFI16 (2.32 ± 0.12-fold), caspase-1 (1.85 ± 0.13-fold), and IL-1β protein (1.93 ± 0.10-fold) was detected in laryngeal cancer tissues compared with that in adjacent tissues (Fig. 2a, b). This evidence concerns the gene IFI16 and laryngeal carcinoma.
