Consistent to our previous ZNF322A silencing proteomic profile and studies that ZNF322A is related to the regulation of nuclease activity, embryonic development, cell cycle, cell motility, and apoptosis, suggesting ZNF322A-regulated protein phosphorylation and signal transduction also play a pivotal role in lung cancer progression (Fig. 3a, Additional file 2: Table S3). The gene discussed is ZNF322; the disease is lung cancer.
