Similarly, in RAG‐1−/− mice with chronic DSS colitis, neutrophils (9.50% vs 0.61% of CD11b+ cells, P = .004) and monocytes (5.78% vs 1.78% of CD11b+ cells, P = .028) were increased as compared with RAG‐1−/− mice without DSS exposure, while no significant effect was seen on eosinophils and macrophages (Figure S2E‐H).
