CRP and bacterial arthritis: The septic arthritis group presented with greater temperature (99.2±1.5 vs 98.7±1.2oF, p=0.045), ANC (9.1±4.3 vs 7.6±3.5 x103/uL, p=0.014), ESR (76.1±31.7 vs 59.3±35.6 mm/hr, p=0.003), and CRP (187.6±110.0 vs 98.9±85.1 mg/L, p<0.001) compared to the aseptic group, while serum WBC (11.7±4.8 vs 10.4±4.0 x103/uL) trended toward statistical significance (p=0.051).
