Immuno-histochemical staining scores for the expression of FAM83H in nuclei (FAM83H-N) and cytoplasm (FAM83H-H), expression of SCRIB in nuclei (SCRIB-N) and cytoplasm (SCRIB-C), and the expression of β-catenin in nuclei (β-catenin-N) were significantly higher in gastric cancers compared with normal gastric mucosa and gastric dysplasia (Figure 1B). The gene discussed is SCRIB; the disease is gastric cancer.
