Yin Yang 1 (YY1) is a member of the GLI‐Kruppel class of zinc finger DNA‐binding proteins and ubiquitously distributed in eukaryotic cells,6 which can act as transcriptional activators in several types of cancers, such as lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), breast cancer, colon and prostate cancer.
