The observed fold increases in these genes (23-fold at Day 8 for FCGR2A; 20-fold at 48 h for IFNAR1) are supportive of increased immunogenic activity following reovirus administration, particularly when coupled with the cytokine expression data (Fig. 2), which show increased anti-tumor cytokines (GM-CSF, IL-12p40, IL-12p70 and IL-15 [20]) and decreased pro-tumorigenic cytokines (IL- 8, RANTES, VEGF), over a 15-day period. This evidence concerns the gene IL15 and neoplasm.
