The results revealed that the enhancing effect of overexpressed RNF8 on c-Myc expression was compromised by silencing β-catenin in colon cancer cells (Figure 2E and 2F, Figure S2E and S2F), which was suggested that RNF8 promoted c-Myc expression via β-catenin. Here, RNF8 is linked to malignant colon neoplasm.
