In addition, we have also detected increased protein levels of BCAP and PLCγ2 in CLL cells, further indicating that stabilized accumulation of multiple signal mediators of the BCR pathway may promote a highly active and sustained BCR signal for prolonged survival of CLL cells which may also render the cells resistant to BCR-targeted therapies.
