We found that blockade of PI3K using LY294002 and blockade of Akt using Akt inhibitor were able to restore exendin-4–mediated inhibitions of MG-induced intracellular and mitochondrial ROS productions (Figures 4A, B, respectively), MG-induced TMRE reduction (Figure 4C), and MG-induced apoptosis (Figure 4D). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and myasthenia gravis.
