As reported, vitamin C can inhibit triple-negative breast cancer metastasis by suppressive effect on formation of F-actin and lamellipodia through regulating expression of YAP1 and synaptopodin 2 [38]; Migration and invasion enhancer 1 (MIEN1) has recently been indicated to promote cancer progression and metastasis by polymerizing G-actin and stabilizing F-actin filaments [39]. Here, MIEN1 is linked to triple-negative breast carcinoma.
