IL-4 production was significantly increased in allergic (11.5 ± 4.7 pg/mL) and non-allergic (10.2 ± 5.6 pg/mL) CRS mice compared with that in the control group (3.8 ± 2.7 pg/mL) at 8 weeks. This evidence concerns the gene IL4 and congenital rubella syndrome.
