When comparing patients with and without MS, there were no significant differences in family history of T2D (74% vs. 75%), hypertension (71 vs. 58%) or dyslipidemias (12 vs. 1%), prevalence of hypothyroidism (49% vs. 36%), and type and doses of insulin (72% vs. 54% of patients with vs. without MS were on treatment with glargine, 64% vs. 73% were on treatment with lispro, respectively). Here, INS is linked to myeloid sarcoma.
