MAPT and Brain atrophy: Although it is difficult to draw any conclusions at the individual level, at the population level, the overall biomarker changes occurred during disease development are in agreement with those reported in previous studies; CSF Aβ1–42 levels are reduced, p-tau and t-tau levels in CSF and amyloid levels in the brain are elevated, and brain atrophy and hypometabolism, as well as cognitive and memory dysfunction, are observed.
