INS and fibrosis: KITT (%/min) was 2.4 (± 1.0) in subjects with no hepatic steatosis, which was significantly higher compared to the subgroup with only steatosis (1.9 ± 0.8) or with both steatosis and fibrosis (1.8 ± 0.7) (p < 0.001), indicating that participants without hepatic steatosis were more insulin-sensitive than those in other two subgroups.
