It is well known that under conditions of hypoxia, HIF‐1α plays an essential role in the transcription of various genes involved in physiological reaction, such as angiogenesis, tumor growth, invasion, metastasis, and glucose metabolism (Kim, Park, Lee, & Kim, 2017; Leung et al., 2017; Soni & Padwad, 2017). This evidence concerns the gene HIF1A and neoplasm.
