Adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) is considered to be a tumor suppressor gene for colorectal cancer (CRC) and is dysregulated at the germ line and somatic level.50 APC activity is related to phosphorylation mediated by CK1 and GSK3β kinase,51 which dramatically enhances its affinity for β-catenin to inhibition of Wnt signaling.52 Here, APC is linked to colorectal cancer.
