CASP8 and endometrial cancer: Furthermore, for caspase-9, a decrease in its activity caused by 10 ng/mL of leptin was noticed by 18% (p = 0.0029), for 20 ng/mL of leptin by 37% (p = 0.0000) and for 40 ng/mL of leptin by 50%, compared to the control (p = 0.0000), while changes in caspase-8 activity were not statistically significant in the endometrial cancer cell line exposed to leptin in all leptin concentration variations (p > 0.05; Figure 4).
