Compared to the healthy control group, pre-transplant patients displayed pancytopenia (reduced white blood cell (WBC), red blood cell (RBC) and platelet (PLT)), lower neutrophil (NEU), lymphocyte (LYM) and monocyte (MONO), lower liver synthesis function markers (cholesterol (CHO), albumin (ALB) and fibrinogen (FIB)), but higher gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), total bilirubin (TBIL) and prothrombin time (PT). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and Pancytopenia.
