Consistent with this observation in transfected cells expressing NP and CCDC92 only, their co-localization was also detected in EBOV∆VP30-infected Huh7.0 VP30 cells that were transfected with a CCDC92 expression vector 24 h after infection (Fig. 4b) as cells expressing CCDC92 prior to infection substantially suppressed viral protein expression given the antiviral nature of CCDC92 (Supplementary Fig. 12b, c).
