The pale blue line in Fig. 3 highlights the canonical pathways obtained with the uploaded proteins: starting from PDGFR, following the arrows, the signal transduction cascade modulates several transcription factors, such as PPAR-γ/RXR-alpha and PPAR-α/RXR-alpha, which in turn modulate APOC3, which proved to be abundant in serum of IPF patients after one year of nintedanib treatment. This evidence concerns the gene PPARG and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
