Considerable attention has been focused on studies evaluating disease-modifying effects in MS that identified genes such as the APOE, CXCR5, IL2RA, IL7R, IL7, IL12RB1, IL22RA2, IL12A, IL12B, IRF8, TNFRSF1A, TNFRSF14, TNFSF14, CBLB, GPR65, MALT1, RGS1, RIC3, STAT3, TAGAP, TYK2, CYP27B1 and CYP24A1 [44,45]. This evidence concerns the gene RIC3 and myeloid sarcoma.
