The expression of CCT3 in cancer tissue is higher than that in non-cancerous tissue, and knockdown or suppression of the expression of CCT3 can inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells in many malignant carcinomas, such as hepatocellular carcinoma [9], gastric carcinoma [10], and papillary thyroid carcinoma [11]. Here, CCT3 is linked to thyroid gland papillary carcinoma.
