The results showed that only the inhibitors for apoptosis and pyroptosis, instead of the inhibitors for other types of cell death, rescued cell viability in cisplatin treated CR-GC cells transfected with LncRNA ADAMTS9-AS2 overexpression vectors, which suggested that LncRNA ADAMTS9-AS2 enhanced the cytotoxic effects of cisplatin on CR-GC cells by triggering apoptotic and pyroptotic cell death. This evidence concerns the gene ADAMTS9 and gastric cancer.
