Indeed, an analysis of TCGA data using cBioPortal (Gao et al., 2013; Cerami et al., 2012; Hoadley et al., 2018) reveals that RPS6KB1 and RPS6KB2, the two isoforms of P70S6K, are amplified or over-expressed in 20% and 11% of lung adenocarcinoma cases, respectively (Figure 4A). This evidence concerns the gene RPS6KB2 and lung adenocarcinoma.
