The possible therapeutic action on metabolic nodes was investigated for the already approved therapies in melanoma, namely upon targeted therapy (e.g., BRAF inhibitors) and on check-point inhibitors (anti—cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein-4—CTLA-4 and anti-programmed cell death-1 -PD-1 monoclonal antibodies) (see Table 1). Here, CTLA4 is linked to melanoma.
