MBD5 and Neurodevelopmental delay: To gain insight into the molecular consequences associated with genetic alteration of MBD5, we explored the transcriptional landscape of Mbd5+/GT and wild-type (WT) mice across multiple brain regions and compared these results to isogenic human iPSC (induced pluripotent stem cell)-derived neuronal cells with CRISPR-mediated mutations of MBD5. Our experimental design sought to identify altered genes and pathways relevant to NDD that were associated with partial loss of MBD5 across multiple brain regions.
