As well as having more CD8 T cells (Fig 3a), MIC-1fms tumors have higher numbers of CD8+CD11c+ T cells/g tumor (Fig 3b, p = 0.04) and the proportion of these cells is also increased from 41.8±6.5% to 70.3±7.4% (Fig 3c, p = 0.007) of CD8 T cells. The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is neoplasm.
