Li et al. (42) found that the expression rate of lumican at the protein level in GC tissues was higher than that in adjacent nontumor tissues and further deliberated the close correlations between the lumican protein expression and clinicopathological characteristics including histological type, median overall survival, organ metastasis, and lymph node metastasis. The gene discussed is LUM; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
