PAG1 and ZNF830 are upregulated at the mRNA level in glioblastomas compared to normal brain tissue and high expression is associated with poor patient prognosis in primary glioblastomas from the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA) dataset, highlighting the clinical relevance of these factors in glioblastoma (Supplementary information, Fig. S18a–d).
