A larger cohort study of 120 FLA-treated patients reported a significant reduction in PSA levels after a one-year follow-up (pre-FLA mean PSA 6.05 ng/ml and post-FLA mean PSA 3.25 ng/ml, respectively), with only 17% of patients receiving tumor therapy again because of positive biopsy after MR imaging abnormalities10. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and neoplasm.
