ACTA1 and Hepatic fibrosis: The results of other experiments, such as α-SMA staining, TUNEL assay, MDA content, and liver fibrosis-related factor expression analyses, were similar (Figure 2A–2C), indicating that the inhibition of NOX4 can improve liver fibrosis, confirming that NOX4 is an important profibrotic factor in the progression of liver fibrosis.
