In non-obese patients, plasma concentrations of NT-proBNP (Estimate 1.271; T = 4.64; 95%CI 0.732–1.811; P < 0.001), MR-proANP (Estimate 0.453; T = 3.65; 95%CI 0.209–0.697; P < 0.001), and MR-proADM (Estimate 0.241; T = 3.76; 95%CI 0.115–0.367; P < 0.001) were higher in patients with HF, compared to patients without HF. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hydrops fetalis.
