In this study, we identified FOXM1 as a driver gene that is strongly associated with bladder cancer recurrence and is known to regulate expression upstream of CCNB1. In addition, we could determine the recurrence rate of patients classified according to the expression of FOXM1 and FANCD2 (Figure 1 and Figure 2) and by using these genes as biomarkers in combination with CCNB1 [13], we could predict the prognosis of patients with NMIBC after the first surgery. This evidence concerns the gene FOXM1 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
