Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) accounts for 15% of all breast cancer and it is characterized by the lack of expression of estrogen receptor (ER)/progesterone receptor (PR)/human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2), earlier recurrence, tendency of visceral metastasis, and worse overall survival [1,2,3]. This evidence concerns the gene PGR and triple-negative breast carcinoma.
