Consistently, in transiently transfected liver cancer cells with Mettl3-WT-GFP or Mettl3-KR-GFP plasmid (green), following by immunostaining with Snail antibodies and Alexa Fluor 546-tagged (red) secondary antibody for visualization, SUMOylation-deficient Mettl3 was found to disrupt Snail accumulation in liver cancer compared to the Mettl3-WT-expressing group (Figure 4F).
