CD86 and type 1 diabetes mellitus: Next, when we assessed the MFI of CD80 and CD86 on the pDCs; again the pDCs in T1D group exhibited higher MFI than the HC group, following stimulation with DNA-LL37 complexes (CD80: 1348 ± 146 vs 839 ± 180) (p = 0.05) and (CD86: 4741 ± 452 vs 2812 ± 540) (p = 0.04) (Fig. 6b,d).
