Serum programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) and programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) levels were compared with healthy controls and with serum cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) levels in order to understand the role of PD-1/PD-L1 axis in cats with mammary carcinoma. Here, PDCD1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
